Meeting in University of Patras

We are thrilled to share highlights from our recent meeting held in Patras on March 12-13, 2024. With representatives from all partner countries (Greece, Spain. Hungary, Italy, Lithuania) in attendance, the gathering was a resounding success, fostering fruitful discussions and paving the way for the project’s successful completion.

The meeting served as a crucial checkpoint to assess the progress made thus far, receive valuable feedback, and chart the course for the project’s completion. Participants engaged in insightful exchanges, sharing insights, challenges, and best practices from their respective regions.

During the final meeting, we had the opportunity to host Mr. Fotis Iliopoulos, who wished to be informed on the latest findings for challenges and opportunities for supporting communities of people with disabilities and expressed the will to contribute with suggestions and solutions at national and international level.

Key agenda items included:

• Reviewing project milestones and achievements.
• Discussing challenges encountered and brainstorming solutions.
• Seeking input and feedback from all partners.
• Outlining remaining activities and timelines for completion.
• Exploring strategies for ensuring the sustainability of the project beyond its conclusion.

Through collaborative efforts and shared dedication, the meeting concluded with a clear roadmap for moving forward. Partners unanimously agreed on action points to be undertaken, emphasizing the importance of synergy and cooperation in achieving project goals.

As we embark on the next phase of this journey, we remain committed to the collective vision and continue to harness the power of international collaboration for the betterment of the communities of students with disabilities and in general people with disabilities that this work is dedicated to.
